The long wait is over, Birds fans! The NFL dropped the full 2025 schedule, and as defending Super Bowl champions, the Philadelphia Eagles are getting the spotlight they deserve. From a banner-raising opener against the Cowboys to holiday doubleheaders and a packed late-season division slate, the 2025 campaign promises to be electric.

The NFL couldn’t have scripted it better. The Eagles will kick off the entire 2025 NFL season by hosting the Dallas Cowboys on Thursday, September 4 at 8:20 PM at Lincoln Financial Field.

Before the first snap, the team will raise their Super Bowl championship banner — and who better to watch than the Cowboys?

“Making Dallas watch us raise that banner? That’s the kind of petty I live for. The Linc is gonna be absolute mayhem,” said season ticket holder Mike Santorelli at Chickie’s & Pete’s.

This is the eighth time the Eagles open a season against Dallas — but the first as defending champs.
