Yinz ready for some football? The wait is over. The Pittsburgh Steelers’ full 2025 NFL schedule is here, and it’s packed with high-stakes action, historic firsts, and classic rivalries.
With a game in Ireland, a trio of primetime showcases, and a rugged AFC North gauntlet, the Black and Gold are poised for a headline-worthy campaign.
Dublin calling: Steelers make Irish history
For the first time in franchise history, the Steelers will play a regular season game abroad - but not in London. Instead, Pittsburgh will host the Colts in Dublin, Ireland at Aviva Stadium:
- Week 6: vs. Colts - Sun, Oct. 5, 9:30 AM EST (NFL Network)
“My grandfather came to Pittsburgh from County Cork in the 1950s, so bringing these two worlds together - Irish heritage and Steelers football - is something special for our whole family,” said fan Patrick O’Connor.
This matchup headlines the NFL’s expanded global series featuring seven international games in 2025.
Divisional grudge matches: AFC North battles
The path through the AFC North remains as physical and dramatic as ever:
- Week 3: at Bengals - Sept. 21, 1:00 PM (CBS)
- Week 7: vs. Browns - Oct. 19, 1:00 PM (CBS)
- Week 11: vs. Ravens - Nov. 16, 1:00 PM (CBS)

- Week 16: vs. Bengals - Dec. 21, 1:00 PM (CBS)
- Week 18: at Ravens - Jan. 4, TBD
“Those Baltimore games just hit different,” said Steelers reporter Bob Labriol. Expect the Week 18 finale to hold playoff implications.
Acrisure atmosphere: the home slate
Excluding the Ireland matchup (technically a “home” game), Steelers fans will enjoy seven games at Acrisure Stadium:
- Week 1: vs. Patriots - Sept. 7, 1:00 PM (CBS)
- Week 5: vs. Bills - Oct. 5, 8:20 PM (NBC)
- Week 7: vs. Browns - Oct. 19, 1:00 PM (CBS)
- Week 10: vs. Commanders - Nov. 10, 8:15 PM (ESPN)
- Week 11: vs. Ravens - Nov. 16, 1:00 PM (CBS)
- Week 15: vs. Raiders - Dec. 14, 1:00 PM (CBS)
- Week 16: vs. Bengals - Dec. 21, 1:00 PM (CBS)
That Week 5 Sunday Night Football clash with Buffalo could serve as an early-season measuring stick between two AFC contenders.

Primetime presence: national TV showcases
Steelers fans get three primetime games under the lights:
- Week 5: vs. Bills - Sun, Oct. 5, 8:20 PM (NBC)
- Week 10: vs. Commanders - Mon, Nov. 10, 8:15 PM (ESPN)

This Thanksgiving game in New Orleans marks Pittsburgh’s first Turkey Day appearance since 2016.
Breather and balance: bye week and schedule flow
The Steelers’ bye falls in Week 9 (Oct. 27-Nov. 2), right between road games in Houston and a Monday Night Football contest at home.
The schedule starts road-heavy (3 of first 4 away), but post-bye, the Steelers enjoy three of four at home, including back-to-back rivalry games in November.
